Mysuru, May 31: Veteran golfer Amandeep Drall showcased her trademark consistency to end a 15-month title drought, winning the seventh leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (WPGT) on Saturday. Playing at the Mysore Golf Club, Amandeep carded a third consecutive round of one-over 71 to secure a well-deserved victory.
This triumph marks Amandeep’s first win of the 2025 season, with her previous title coming back in March 2024. With this latest win, she continues her remarkable streak of winning at least one event every year since 2015 — a testament to her reliability and high performance on the domestic circuit.
Amandeep’s composed and steady approach throughout the tournament helped her edge out a competitive field, reaffirming her position as one of the most accomplished and consistent players on the Hero WPGT.
With this victory, Amandeep becomes the fourth different winner of the ongoing season. Vani Kapoor leads the title tally with three wins, followed by Sneha Singh with two and Rhea Purvi Saravanan with one. Amandeep’s win adds to the competitive depth and excitement of the tour.
Her return to the winner’s circle is expected to boost her confidence ahead of upcoming events, and her experience will continue to be a guiding force for younger players on the tour. As the Hero WPGT progresses, fans can look forward to more thrilling performances from seasoned champions and rising stars alike.
