Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will secure a clear majority in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Speaking at a campaign rally, Singh said the people of Bihar face a clear choice — between the clean and development-driven leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, or the “jungle raj” era associated with Lalu Prasad Yadav that, according to him, “still haunts their memory.”
Singh highlighted the progress made under the NDA government, citing improved infrastructure, better law and order, and welfare initiatives aimed at empowering the poor and youth. He added that the people of Bihar have experienced both governance models and are likely to support the one that prioritizes stability, progress, and transparency.
With the Bihar elections entering a crucial phase, Singh’s remarks underscore the NDA’s confidence in maintaining its political dominance in the state.
