cclaimed filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli has finally teased the much-awaited title of his upcoming project with superstar Mahesh Babu, tentatively known as SSMB29. On August 9, 2025, Rajamouli posted a striking poster on social media, featuring Mahesh Babu in an intense pre-look. The actor appears in a rugged, blood-stained vest, wearing a pendant with Lord Shiva’s trishul and Nandi, exuding a fierce and adventurous aura.

Overlaying the image was the word “Globetrotter”, sparking a wave of excitement among fans. The hashtag #Globetrotter began trending within hours, with speculation that the film could be an epic action-adventure spanning multiple countries and cultures.

Rajamouli, known for global blockbusters like RRR and Baahubali, described this project as “a once-in-a-lifetime adventure story.” Sources suggest the film will showcase Mahesh Babu as a globetrotting hero on a mission that combines thrilling action, ancient mythology, and breathtaking landscapes.

The director, however, has not confirmed if Globetrotter is the final title or simply a thematic teaser. He revealed that a grand first-look reveal is scheduled for November 2025, where more plot details, the main cast lineup, and the official title will be unveiled.

Produced on a massive scale with international technicians, the film is expected to go on floors later this year, with shooting planned across several exotic locations worldwide. Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas is rumored to be in talks for the female lead, marking her return to big-budget Indian cinema.

Fans are calling this collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli a “dream project,” with expectations that it could redefine Indian action-adventure cinema on a global stage
